I wish I had the game tape of when my knees got ruined. Imagine, if you will, me... a 5'11" 140 pound receiver going high for an overthrown ball and a 225 pound safety chugging at me, grabbed both my legs around the shins and pinned them to the back of my thigh..... I land directly on my knees with all of his weight and my weight. Yes, I held on to the ball. However, I was in two full leg casts for 24 weeks.
