Has anyone noticed the little blue icon next to the title of certain threads? This indicates tagged threads, which makes enough sense to me.....but what confuses the crap out of me is where the tags come from? The tags usually make no sense...

For example, this thread: IGG (Passow's) Grow Log 10-20-2008 - Harvest Time (http://www.thehotpepper.com/showthread.php?t=8153) is tagged "hampsters, harvest, passow, poop, tobacco"

The only pattern i've noticed is that all of IGG's threads have the tag poop, which happens to be the most popular tag according to this: http://www.thehotpepper.com/tags.php

But i mean can anyone tag a thread or just the person who started the thread? cause some of my thread have been tagged w/o me doing it. I think its pretty funny, I can't believe it took me this long to notice.

Ya, that was me. I started out adding some silly tags to my posts just to see if anyone read them (turns out hardly anyone does ;) ) mainly with the word poop. One or two people caught on and played along posting tags like "Passow eats pepeprs, passow poops" or "Passow poops pics". I pride myself on having tags very non-sequitor.

The only thing I don't get is why the tag "pie" isn't in there.

Check the tag list, it's in there under "I Like Pie".
