Just was thinking this could be an interesting topic.
I know IGG grows his own, and perhaps a few others too, but surely lots of folks RYO nowdays that smoking is so freaking expensive otherwise.
Roll-Your-Own Tobacco (http://www.ryoguide.com/ryo-brief-history) isn't just for bums and cowboys anymore.
I've been primarily doing RYO since about 1993. I buy packs here and there mainly for going to bars and the like, but really like making my own. ost of the time I hand-roll, but I also use tubes & an injector to make ready-mades.
I used to love Stokklebye's McClintock...but the 'ol guy died, they sold the names, and the new one just isnt the same. I'll still buy it since it's a good price..but it's nowhere as good as b4.
ATM, I have the following:
• Bugler Hand Injector (it's a tank)
• A bunch of misc. brands of papers and tubes.
• Bali Shag can
• Amphora bagged
• Bugler Pouches for backup. (they were buy 1-get-1 ;))
My fave link for reviews and such of RYO gear and tobaccos is RYO Magazine (http://www.ryomagazine.com/). A ton of useful information there.
Another is: http://www.ryotobacco.com/
Yet another good link: http://www.ryoguide.com/
Cheers! http://bestsmileys.com/smoking/4.gif
