"Snowy Forecast
Weather lore warns that every fog in October will bring a snow come winter. Our winter forecast predicts that most of the country will have below-normal temperatures and that heavy snowfalls will extend from the Ozarks northeastward into southern New England."
we had a very mild winter here the last two years so it is about time we had a cold one I suppose

Why in the world would anyone let a little snow and cold weather stop you from grilling?

Not to mention Oysters are in season. Not to worry, if Al Gore has any thing to do with it, winter temps this year will break records. Hell I love winter grilling, always have since I'm not alowed to smoke ciggarettes in the house, also beer stays colder.

Late fall and early winter are the best months for me to do most of my meat smoking(bacon, sausages, jerky, fish) and I BBQ all year long

Yeah even being in the south-east of England the summers haven't been good for a few years. This year we had our hot spell early on but the rest of the time it has been a bit sh*tty. It seems to be that it's warmer when it rains here and colder when it's sunny.

Is water taxed in England
Yep this is England. It would be easier to type a list of the things we don't pay tax on.

I'm feeling your pain, I hate humidity, today here 68 sunny an maybe 15 % hum, some leaves starting to turn and the birds are chirping, however preventing it from being a perfect day would be the hangover I'm sporting. Oh yeah, and listening to the news of the dow jones.

Don't fall over in shock but it's been a beautiful day here in south-east England too. OK obviously not sun-bathing weather but I didn't have to wear a coat or put the heating on in the car. Sometimes it gets so cold and horrible over here that even the birds wear coats.
