No, it's not a spin off of my noise band. It's that time of the season where I get to consume all thing pumpkin and tonight, I had a pumpkin party (with only myself...is that still a party?). I put this in the longue b/c it covered too many areas of this forum (All Foods, Peppers, Sauces, etc....we need a pie section of the forum).
So here I am, consuming homemade Defcon Zero Pumpkin Pie (made out of a fresh pumpkin and some Defcon Zero), Saranac Pumpkin Beer, and CaJohn's Pumpkin Pie Salsa (which is as heavenly as it sounds). Let the discussion BEGIN!

I haven't found many pumpkin beers I really love. So last year I roasted some pumpkin seeds and made a nice Roasted pumpkin seed ale.
The latest edition of BYO magazine shows some creative geniuses actually brewing beer in some huge pumpkins! Crazy.
Pumpkin pie salsa??? That took some imagination!

It's one of his seasonals. I can't belive I got a chance to try it. We got a case or two in the store and I just had to buy it. It has Jalapenos in it, but I woul donly rate the heat as 0.5 out of 10. It's just that mild.
Get a haircut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey you stole my line!!
The only place i have seen pumpkin used in chilli sauce is Jersey Death (they put pumpkin seeds in it for some reason). Whats the brew like? They don't make that out of pumpkin do they?

Hmmm, fun.
Ya know, pumkin and habs do go rather nicely together. :)
Hmm not sure if I would like the salsa and defcon in my pumpkin pie, but I must say the pie looks really good. Did not realize you could bake. Discovering more and more sides to you.
I have never made pumpkin pie before. Are any of the ingredients fat or oil based? If so you could combine your passion for weed in this pie as well.

The brew's like drinking a pumpkin pie but less spicy. Love pumpkin beers but it's hard to find one that balanced (there are only three that are perfect, Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin, Ichabod(sp?), and Buffalo Bill's Original Pumpkin, oh ya, four, the fourth is the Saranac). They do use actual pumpkin in the brewing.

No oil or fat base, but that doesn't matter for weed, just sprinkle in your pot and bake it. The heat is the key because THC only becomes active when heated. The fat just helps bind it but is not nessicary one bit.

Funny - I prefer pumpkin beers that aren't balanced! Shipyard's Pumpkinhead is my absolute favorite, and I don't care what BeerAdvocate says. I want a pumpkin beer that tastes like pumpkin pie - not one that uses the same spices as pumpkin pie.
Dogfishhead Punkin, Saranac, etc, are all too "middle of the road" for me. They're good - to be sure - but I want a sweeter Octoberfest.
To be fair, you'd never want to drink more than 2 Shipyard's. They're like dessert. Too much and you'll start to get sick of it.

I don't like pie - hot, mushy, sweet fruits and vegetables make my stomach flip. The flavor is good. The texture I can't deal with.

Press the quote button, then delete any part of the text after where it says
So it'll eventually come up with something looking like this if you do it correctly:
[QUOTE=DickT;115878]I'm dumb :hell:

I've done brownies (or greenies as I like to call em), cookies, and butter (not to mention the products I've bought from the stores with the pot, lolipops [those were free], doobie snacks, cake, pop, peanut butter, hash pills  ). I've extracted THC and made tar balls with it (when it comes to extracting, use every part of the plant. Instead of sacrificing buds, I used my harvested leaves). I've extracted mesciline in alchol and also have made mesciline tea with the cactus. The list goes on and on....
And let's not forget "God Balls" which are extracted psylipsibin via alcohol and rolled up into a ball.

Can I come hang out with you for like a month hahahahha...
Aside from that have you ever tried eating a couple tablespoons of Nutmeg. I wasn't able to accomplish it because of the taste but my roommate in college that I tried it with said it was enjoyable. Only thing is that it takes like 8 hours to set in. We mixed it with milk and did it at night. Like I said I couldn't manage to drink it but he did and woke up happy the next morning. Hahha

I've never done it, and have heard a few bad things about doing it. Plus doing stuff like that is in the catigory of doing whippets, IMHO. You're just doing something to get high, not to learn and expand your horizons.

I like putting around a 1/2 tsp. of nutmeg in with the coffee grounds for coffee. It's yummers and has a nice wakie-wakie addition to the brew.
This last pot, when I went to grind the beans, I threw in about 5-6 whole Allspice, the nutmeg, and a dash of cinnamon. Perfect for this time of year. http://hometown.aol.ca/VivianSulliNwank/Halloween/HalloweenPumpkinSmileyCheesyGrin.gif
Oh, and I've never used it as a "high", although it certainly can be such.
