I dropped my JD :)

Today i was going to use a tad of Jersey Death on my lunch along with my Cayenne Cashew sauce. Anyway i dropped the bottle on concrete and the bottom got a hole in it= glass in sauce.

Soooo i was thinking, can one make a decent bug spray with the remainder? (not for me the plants!!)

I had around 70ml left witch i poured into a 700ml bottle and topped it up with water. The result was heavy stuff at the bottom (duh), water in the middle and lovely capsaicin filled oil at the top.:cool:

Has anyone got any bug spray recipes that they would like to share? I wanna use this stuff to keep the nasties off my chilli plants.

Usually making a spray like that won't stop the bugs, but it sure does keep the squirrels and rabbits away good.

Mince clove of garlic, finely chop half an onion, place in a quart jar with water, add a drop or two of NON-antibacterial dishwashing soap, and add some JD. Stir throughly, place in cooler (do not drink). Let sit for 1 hour. Shake and add to spray bottle and use as needed. Works wonders. Plus, if you keep it refriderated, it'll last a week.

I was like - sounds tasty why wouldnt you eat it - Ohhh... dishwashing soap... yeah... i'm trying to cut down.
