Personally, I want the very last bottle (#500). There's something rather appealing about getting the last of the last.

Mississippi Hot Sauce King owns it. He purchased an unnumbered bottle at the same time, so that he could eat it.
It had a half scotch bonnet and a whole Indian finger pepper infused in the sauce.
We don't do the Indian finger pepper anymore, because those jars were special.

You realize vegetables scream when you cut them, you just can't hear them. Does that make it morally ok?

Good question. Do coyotes count? Yes, at the ranch in Montana last year they had a major coyote problem, and I was more than willing to lend a hand, and a trigger finger.

That's my least favorite thing. hahaha.
When a thread turns into a bunch of private talk, it's frustrating. A comment here or there is always funny, but this whole idea of posting like 20 back and forth posts about someone's delivery or something kind of ruins a thread (or a blog post).
That's what email is for. ;)

For all you cave dwellers, the Word of Blair...
DUE TO A VERY UNEXPECTED DELAY IN THE ARRIVAL OF A SEALING WAX FROM ITALY. THE FIRECRACKER 500 WILL BE DELAYED IN SHIPPING BY 7-10 DAYS. I WILL HAVE A VERY SPECIAL GIFT ENCLOSED WITH YOUR ORDER FOR THIS DELAY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING. FEEL ALIVE
With my luck, it will arrive while I'm on vacation and get stolen off my front porch.

I may be on vacation, but my wife is staying behind (doesn't want to go white-water rafting... how sad). Better luck next time.
But if you must know, stand on Sweetwater Ave with the 125 over your head, look down and Southeast. I live there. All my Chili plants are in the front yard, so it's hard to miss.

Oh no- I feel like I just landed in Bob's Country Bunker ("We play both kinds of music here. We have your country AND your western!").
Those folks in Coronado would vote for Jeb Bush if he decided to run in 2008 (some people never learn). I'm the guy who points out the big bird dropping on the back of their cars only to correct myself at the last minute and tell them it's their W'04 bumper sticker.

Got mine Monday - looks GREAT!!!!! Check out the HSB for pics and for the freebie...... (another collectors bottle woth BLACK/YELLOW wax on it filled with Habanero powder)
FIRECRACKER
Three varieties. Each with a different base wax - RED, BLUE and WHITE (WHITE base was are rare). Mine is blue.
FREEBIE
Here are the facts:
These bottles have been given free to each order of Firecracker 500 (from Blair). However, since only 500 Firecrackers were made available, it’s safe to say that less then 500 Encore Reserves exist.
These are not numbered, but they are signed.
These are not for resale.
These are offically the last of the last of his reserve bottles.
Inside chileheads will find a dried habanero powder.

Just spoke to Karin over at extremefood.com. For all of you still wondering when your package will arrive, be aware that they are still shipping out the orders and may all finally be on the way to a neighborhood near you by 7/14 (meaning you won't see the box until 7/21). Don't know if I would want to work there. It's probably fun but too crazy-busy to keep your sanity half of the year.
