This plant is growing in every direction possible. It would probably make a great hanging basket, and is it ever productive with cool looking pods(see avatar) I haven't done much sampling yet but what I did try was quite smokey and hot:mouthonfire: I have a lot of productive yellow C. chinenses this year that I have to thoroughly compare to see which flavors are best.

Absolutely. Those pods are very crazy looking. What does the heat rate around Potawie? Orange habs?
Real cool pods. Any chance we can get a close up pic?

From what I remember they are probably as hot as a normal orange hab but smokey tasting.
Here's a bit of a close-up pic, but a little blurry. Ripe pods were picked this afternoon

They look great! Awesome variety. Even if they'd taste like s**t I'd probably still grow them next year, just for their looks!!!

Frell me..that's awesome.
Ha, reminds me of my weird jalapeno plant that apparently is trying to grow sideways...:o
Those also look a lot like my funky habs..although they are mostly bright orange. Nice!

Hey Quad is "Frell me" a nicer way of saying something else?

Ah ok. Sci-fi geek? Not in my book. Whatever makes you happy as long as what you like doesn't hurt anyone. At least that is my feelings on it.

I use "frack" from Battlestar Galactica (the original one).
Hi....
I am (and many) amazed at Potawie;s pics ..the skill he must have to get such chilies.
By the way, may I ask Potawie if he can send me some Chili Gronong seeds. Please let me know. I can't seem to find them on the net and am doubtful if they will germinate. I learned a painfully hot lessons from REIMER SEEDs.
Thanks, looking forward to yr photos - gives us some hope our chilies may one day surprise us.

Jee Potawie, what a lovely plant !!!! I love that wrinkled look and the color is just beautiful... I'm in for some seeds, please ! I'd love to grow it next year.
Btw, your "Peito de Moça" seeds are almost yours !:lol: The fruits are all green for the moment, but as the temps continue the same as all season long, I think that they will have time to ripe :)

Whocares, I'd love to get some Peito de Moca (C. Baccatum) seeds if you get enough ripe pods too. I may be able to help with Goronong Yellow for you (and red version). :)

Sure, Chris, no problem at all ! They're virtually yours ! ;) I hope the season will extend a little bit so I will be able to crop all those beauties that are all green by now :)

I guess they have no choice, the weight of all the pods will pull them down.

I don't think the cili Goronong usually grows this way. I think it was due to aphid problems early on.
Anyone who has asked for seeds already, I will try but my list of recipients is getting huge and I am still very busy with harvesting and preserving this time of year.
