Fatalli,,,Devils's Tongue,,,Are They the Same?

I know that they are sold as different varieties but they sure seem to be VERY similar. Are the Devil's Tongue and Fatalli in fact different varieties? Or the same variety with perhaps regional differences.

Havent tried devils tongue and most will tell you they are the same..But Stillmanz who makes some of the best sauces around says they have a distinct taste to them..Different from Fatalii yellow :)

Hiya buddy my cousin has sent some Devils tongue pods and yes there is slightly differnt taste but not a massive difference..Very subtle indeed :rolleyes::)
