WEll, we are driving home to TX next weekend for a week long visit with the family and going to squeez in a chili cookoff in while there.. woo hoo!! Going to cook in Irving TX on the 26th.. wish me luck, going to try a new recipe!! I won 1st place with it in Morrow GA a couple of weeks ago.. Seems to be very good!! Cant wait to be back in TEXAS!!!:cool:

Jul 26, 2008-002 - Irving TX CASI. Chili Pods For Paws 2nd Annual CCO. Held at Pete and Mac's Pet Resort in the Las Colinas Equestrian Center, 6150 Riverside. CHILI GRIND ONLY. Entry fee $20, turn- in 2 PM. Junior chili $8 turn-in 1 PM. Beans turn in Noon, 1st 2nd 3rd pay. Bring bag of throw down chili for tasting cups, for the public if you care to.
