I simply use the DM MKII to add heat to other sauces or put it in when I am cooking...also, 2 little dolops of it makes a great bloody mary...
The habby horse is good in bloody mary's too. I use it anywhere I would normally use horse radish...like on a roast beef sammich or use it for making seafood coctail sauce...it's great with oysters on the half shell

I love the comments around the 6 1/2 minute mark. "breathing actually hurts" and "whoop tee whoop". Yes THSC you did very well that stuff if HOT! You amaze me that the only time you swore is when you spilled it. I'd be cursing like a mad man if I ate that much.

THSC, well done, very well done. Great video! Most would not have fared as well as you did. The DM MKII is more of an additive than a straight user. Many folks are mixing it with various BBQ sauces, and wing sauces, to bring it to the Exquisitely Painful Bliss stage.
For a moment, I thought you had gotten some in your eye. Been there, trust me to say I'm glad you didn't.

That sounds awesome on a roast beef sandwich, and the oysters as well. I'll have to try it on the oysters for sure also.
It's a definite winner on oysters. I had it that way the day I bought it.

This stuff is AWESOME!! I first put a dab on my finger and put it in my mouth. Had a real nice burn and the roof of my mouth started burning. Several minutes later when it wore off I stuck half my finger in the bottle and took a big glob of it.......WHOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!! Endorphin rush and I feel quite a bit warmer in the face. If I wasn't thirsty I'd probably be sweating. Can't wait to make some INSANE wings with it!:hell::hell::onfire::mouthonfire: I love it!!.......Maybe some day I'll try for a bottle of Zero.......I'll have to have more spending money though. I'll get back with a review on the Habanero Horseraddish later.

I love trying to find new uses for DM MKII I'm thinking of making some fried shrimp with it next. The best part is that the stuff is so hot that the bottle is lasting forever. I have used it 6-8 times now and still have over half the bottle.

Lasting long and pleasing ones heat addiction is always a good thing. Speaking of which, now I'm eating a bowl of macaroni and cheese with hotdogs in it smothered in Defcon 1. Seems like I get the itch if it's not hot:lol:

Too bad the only people coming for our cookout don't like heat...
So, I am going to make something special for myself....thinking of using a naga, two orange habs, some cayenne, a couple of jalapenos that are dried in the oven (so toasted if you will)...make a powder, add some salt, garlic powder, a little chilantro, a tad of rosemary and tarragon, and rub two racks of ribs with the concoction...
I will take pictures through the day of cooking I am sure....

I give you credit on the discipline. I'm insane, but I took a tablespoon in front of my wife........HOLY SH#$!!!.....Yep.....no filter there. That was the most intense pain I've felt. Actually the equivalent or worse compared to when I crashed my bike before I started racing on the street when I was going about 140 and braked to late yet and crashed at about 90 MPH on the street. I fealt every bump, bounce and the ditch then. I actually missed a month of work. I ordered the big boys of '1' this timne to make sure I don't run out so quickly. We have a few events coming up, so this order, along with the four Defcon 2 bottles I have, should make for a great variety of heat levels. First personal batch though is 50/50 DM MKII and Defcon 1...Geez, I can feel the burn already...
Just a side note. The wife tolerates and benefits from my variety of sauces, but never really says much unless she loves something. We had chicken breasts in Defcon 2 two weeks ago, and half way thru the dinner she says ' this is definitely the best sauce you buy. I just love this BBQ sauce '.

I know this thread is about DMKII but I have a question for ya.
how would you rate your defcon 3-2-1 sauces for heat level compared to cajohns 10 sauce ? (I picked the 10 sauce because it seems like most people have tried it here)
3-2-1 are they close to,milder than, 2x hotter,etc... you get the idea what I'm asking for the heat level of your defcon 3-2-1 line of sauces. zero & DMKII I'm pretty sure they're way out of my league & I dont want to try them

is defcon 2 about equal to 10 sauce for heat or 2x hotter & the same with defcon 1 sauce how does it compare to 10 sauce for heat ? milder,same,2x hotter, 3x hotter ?

1 is hotter than 10 in my opinion, 2 is milder then 10
1 is like a classic extract kinda burn imo kinda say around daves insanity heat but obviously tastier

I consider the #3 as kind of a newbie sauce, no much heat at all, but a nice tang. The #2 is our overall by far best seller, nice balance of heat & flavor. For the chilihead, we created the #1 and DM MKII. I've never had 10, so I can't be a good judge of which one is hotter. If you are worried about something being too hot, go for the #3 and #2.

I'd say 10 is similar in heat to Defcon 1. Maybe 1 is a little hotter but not much. Very different in taste though. 10 is an excellent hot sauce, but 1 is a WING sauce. While I do use it on other things it is the perfect wing sauce IMO.

I second that...Though for pure burn, Defcon 1 seems to last longer. Maybe because it's thicker in consistency. Without question these are two of my top five favourite sauces.

Got it yesterday...you are the shipping king...just in time for annual family day this Saturday ( ranges between 80 and 120 people )...cousin Willie still brings the welding gloves and glasses, after rubbing extract sauce into his eyes a few years ago...I wish I had it on tape...lol...
Awesome stuff man! We are actually throwing our Annual Summer House Party Blowout on Saturday as well, lookin' at about 120 people as well. I'll be kickin' on the fryers early Saturday morning. Good luck!

When done right the most I can have is 5. Most of the guys are willing to have one, but there is a big spike in beer drinking for the next 15 minutes...:flamethrower::beer:
Some of the grandkids are hitting their late teens, and are jumping into the fray...it's great to see the enthusiasm for heat...a couple of the boys are tough little buggers...:D

I don't have a digital camera. I have a Sony video camera that can take stills, but they never seem to turn out very well. The colour is usually a little off, and often they don't turn out at all as they are either way too bright, or way too dark...I am sure there is a way to adjust the light, but I haven't figured it out yet. I'll give it a whirl, but with it being outdoors on Saturday, I may wind up with just a bunch of white squares...

"you threw away a wing theres a 1 minute rule"
Depends on the location. H*ll, if something like that fell on the floor in the lab, I'd have to hone my reflexive timing to compete with the fuzzy little green guys with the red eyes that live under the cryo unit.
Sounds like my Kitchen almost:lol::lol:

Success. I burned a number of people out, myself included. From reading another thread, I decided to mix UBK's Killer Wing Sauce with DM MKII. I did not respect the latter, and probably used twice as much as I should have. A couple of people had some issues for some time after getting a wing down. Pics as promised...

For 50 wings I used two bottles of UB's wing sauce, and a third of a bottle of a bottle of DM MKII. They were flat out blistering, though I managed to get 10 down yesterday, but I wasn't just sweating, I was leaking...Man they were hot...:mouthonfire:
