Clicked on a link in here this morning to Pyro-Diablo's site and found a trojan!!!! Both AVG and McAfee picked up on it. Both said it was undeletable, but I started overwriting with HistoryKill while it was still in temp file. Seem to have gotten rid of it, but won't know until all scans are complete.

STAY AWAY FROM THERE. Somebody here might e-mail them to let them know. NIGAZ are hacking sites and putting in virus links everywhere. It's a war, so be careful. Frank

The Bad link is under forum heading " Hot Peppers",
Subject " Do you own a Hot Sauce Site", Posted by PD.

I cleaned my puter, but it's a right nasty Trojan. Don't remember it's exact name. I overwrote it to erase it.

Thanks for the heads up Frank!

I removed both links, just to be on the safe side. I will send a PM to "PD" regarding this...looks like the links were legit and may have been hijacked. ...

Tina, Those A holes just spend all their time trying to get into any and every site to hi-jack decent links. That's all they seem to do. :x :x I would toss a grenade into their room if I knew where they were. Maybe two, then I'd go in to arrest them. No name is too 'bad' for them. :x
If it happens here, you'll know it at some point. They did it to google, aol, yahoo, monster, and a lot of other sites.
It's not limited to porn sites, but more prevalent there. :x

Anyway, I hope nobody else here gets hung up.

Save me some time... Are we talking about them hacking my site admin password and changing it that way or are they simply changing what's at the far end of my links???

I honestly Don't know. They got Puro's site, not yours. I don't know how it's done, though I bought 4 or 5 disks to learn so I would know how to prevent it.
I think they hack admin rights to a site get any info they want, then if they desire, change a pic or a link so that JUST PASSING OVER IT will deliver a virus payload. Wish I knew more, but life interfered with classes, and they've come so far in THEIR knowledge, I'm waaayyy behind.

hmm, well, let me know what you learn and I'll keep an eye on my links as best I can in the meantime.

Sounds pretty nasty if you ask me.
