you should have let her eat the pod, that way she would never go back to eating the plant. now, she'll go back.

Alot of times when a dog has an upset stomach they eat grass to settle it. Mine does it off and on. This what I was told by my grand father and dad. Heres a link that might help : http://www.petlibrary.co.uk/dog-care/why-do-dogs-eat-grass.html?Itemid=33 It seems like he/she enjoys greens

Whatever the reason may be (most of what was said so far makes sense to me) she surely didn't do it to annoy you... You could try spraying some extract so0lution on the remaining leaves, she'll never touch them again.

CM64's right, eating the pod would've had the same effect. Stopped her a sec too early, but that's understandable, anyone would've done that!

it would be near impossible to stand there and let the dog eat your only naga pod, I know I wouldn't let mine do that! advice is easy to give, you know, do as I say not as I do...

Yesterday Mr. Murphy pulled a branch off my plant with ten small ripe Orange Habs on it. The rest of the branches are now splattered with Mad Dog 357. He probably just thought he was helping with my harvest but he won't now.

Tigger grabbed a fresh Jalapeno pod in his teeth and ended up ripping the whole branch off the tree. He received a good whack from me and never did it again.

That sucks. My dogs are more likely to barrell over a plant running across the yard to bark at something. I have them in raised beds with 12 inch sides. That has been a good deterrent.

That sucks, but at least they aren't eating crap like my dogs did when I was a kid. I remember one time my baby sister took a crap on the floor after she got out of the tub. My mom said, hurry up before Max get's it.!! (He's known for liking turds:lol:) He wolfed that thing down like a fat kid on a snickers bar!

This is why my garden is fenced in; mainly the dogs will eat my tomatoes if they can get at 'em.
