Lookee, lookee what's being advertised for sale at our local JC Penney Outlet store:
Amazon Link. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002X5PQO/qid=1139970382/sr=8-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-4668293-9896624?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=284507)
This is nearly half the cost we've seen for something like this anywhere else, so Linda will be going to pick one up on Friday.
Soon we'll be able to advance to the next experience level of chicken wing zen mastery. Now when we review more wing sauces (ATTN: Suck Creek Wings...heh heh), we'll be able to cook 'em up right instead of the culinary improvisation we've done thus far.
Woot!

You mean to tell me that you don't already have one of these????
They're standard kitchen equipment here... Like toasters or blenders!!!
Tell me you don't hand crush the ice for your daiquiris!!!!

Tina, Tina, Tina...Unlike yourself, they aren't 'standard' kitchen machines here. You see, below the Arctic Circle, we can actually fry them -outside- with a turkey fryer and not have to worry about the ensuing frostbite, propane hoses freezing up, or the occasional polar bear attack.

You're just saying that, because you don't know how to dress for the weather.
Think BEAR SKIN.

I can dress for the cold weather, I just like having the option of not being forced to.

Daiquiris? Nah, that's one of those fru-fru drinks...
We're still trying to make the perfect margarita. On the tequila board I participate in, one person recommended using some agave syrup. However, I'd have to mail order it because no one sells it locally.

I have the perfect recipe for Margaritas...
One part 100% blue agave tequila
One part Peppermaster Ginger Lime Drizzle
Shake gently (in a shaker with ice cubes) then serve in an apperitif glass.

We're still trying to make the perfect margarita.
Here's what I do
2 parts good tequila ( good means 100% agave)
1 part Contreau
FRESH lime juice to taste
splash of simple syrup ( helps even out the lime tartness)
Shake over ice..serve
optional...a "floater" of Grand Mariner
On the tequila board I participate in....

Could you post a link? I love tequila!

Chuk,
Yup, here's your link:

I've posted there quite a bit under the nom de plume of doctoragave. It's one of the best resources on the web for information about tequila.

Man, between Canadian Ice Chickens and the rare Tundra Agave, you seem to have some real dilemmas.

I suppose. At least I can get great beer, maple syrup, Alberta Brand beef, so, there are pluses.

You have maple syrup??? It doesn't get cold enough there to get GOOD maple syrup. We already established that!
Point Barrow Glacier Beef??? That's technically Russian!
And Beer... well, ya know, living that close to us, you guys have to figure out eventually how to make beer, so I'm not surprised you're finally catching up... After all, you had all those years of prohibition to slow you down.
