I have a few plants in containers and was wondering if worms are beneficial to the plant and soil? I have heard both, they are bad, they are good. If they are good, is it worth indroducing them to the containers?

I always thought worms were good in the garden as they churn up the soil. I'm not sure about in pots though.

I think they would be fine in pots. I have a worm farm with red worms and put handfuls of castings and worms in the pots when I plant outside.
I also prepare the dirt garden with worm castings.
This is Spunky, the jefe maximo of the worm farm......

Worms rule. Anywhere they are.
I had some in a houseplant once and the plant loved it.
