This is my 5,000 post

Wow, I’ve made it. This is officially my 5,000th post here. I have never, ever had this many posts on any other forum.

That being said, I wanted to say that this is the ONLY forum that I post at now. No other forum could be so fun, so respectful of other people, and as full of good knowledge as this site here. Everyone knows each other so well here and I feel like we are all one big dysfunctional family. We have our good days and our bad days, but eventually we all end up in the “f@#$ it I’m drinking” thread.

So thank you to all the people that make this feel like a home and keep doing what you do best. A special thanks goes out to TheHotPepper himself for without him, this place would never exist. Thanks for creating and maintaining a great little spot on the universe that is the web.

To put your post count in a little perspective: I use to frequent (quite often!) an Ohio High School sports forum - JJs. I only got to about 6500 posts before the new owners reset everyone, though they did allow members to estimate their post count and they restored it. One guy, who has been a member since 2000, has 96,000 posts or 12,000 per year. He even took last summer off, or close to it.

Wow, one forum I have 2320 posts, and another I have 1228, but some of those threads I'd posted in were removed or the counts wer reset in the case of the latter. 5K is a lot of posts though. :shocked:
