since dreamtheatervt brought up "planet of the apes" movies, in another thread & dont want to mix them, so heres this thread.
dream - I see you mentioned you havent seen the orginal movies, correct ? they're great movies in a cheesy cult classic kind of way. & cutting edge makeup back in those days which still isnt that bad nowadays I think.
the 1st one is the best "planet of the apes" then "escape...." then "beneath......"
but in series order is
"planet..."
"beneath..."
"escape..."
"conquest...."
"battle..."
& behind the scenes DVD if you buy the set, which isnt that much $30-$40
the 2002 remake is great (IMO) but its to bad it wasnt well recieved from the general public for the producers to go forward to keep making sequels, because I think the newly updated sequels would of been great!
unless I heard wrong ? about them not making anymore "planet of the apes" movies, I wish they'd keep making all the sequels because theres a cult following for the "planet of the apes" movies. just like theres a cult following for star wars or star trek.
