I made a chapotle sauce it yeilded 5 bottles and man after 3 weeks I opened and tasted and its awsome and the heat is there...Its exactly what I wanted and I made it...Not a big deal to most but a biggie to me..

probably chipotles, at a guess. :lol:
I love chipotle sauce, best hot sauce ever. I usually buy the Bufalo brand.
Did you use canned in adobo, or dried?

Chipotles are smoked Jalapenos -- in addition other varieties of chiles can be smoke-dried as well

Chipotles can be any smoked pepper, but typically its jalapenos.

Yummy.
I've always wanted to make a Habanero Chipotle, but alas no smoker or grill here. Just think of the nuclear Chipotles in adobo sauce that'd make. :D

A friend of mine has a smoker so between him and me smoked alot of japs and some carrabian red habs and I played with the rest...this time its a little runny but for the next batch ill work on it
WHEN WILL THEY INVENT A WAY TO TRANSFER SMELL OVER THE INTERNET? WHEN?!
