You don't really think that I spent the entire month, trudging through the wild jungles of Eleuthera hunting down goat peppers... Although, that would sound better in the memoirs. :)

Embellish a bit, or state that the goat peppers on the island you went to were actually bipedal, and they sought YOU out. You fought them off with your ketone particle accelerator, which drained their essence, and then they brought you to the Mother Load of goat peppers, next to the Platinum Habaneros. Hell, sounds better than "I was laying on a beach".
