Another DEFCON DAY! Saturday, 2/11/06, 2-6pm

Yup, due to the success of the last one, we have already slated ANOTHER DEFCON Day! This one will be on Saturday, February 11th at the Alley Bar in Berkeley Heights, NJ. For the first time ever, we will have the Coors Light girls handing out stuff, and will be running drink specials. These things seem to be getting bigger every time, so if you haven't been able to make the past Defcon Days, you might not want to miss this one. Free wings from 2-6+pm, raffles for Defcon stuff, and discounted beer. And not to mention the ability to buy Defcon Sauce without having to pay shipping charges. Who could ask for more? Become a Defcon Acolyte! :flamethrower: :beer:

Too bad you can't farm out your Defcon-Day operation to other people. Most of us don't live within 2 hours of NJ.

I don't know where you are in relation to AC, but that would be a great place to get your name out. Lots of tourists, and they could use some physical pain to drown out the mental anguish of losing their money to the casino.

Hmmm, jobbing out the Defcon Days, interesting angle. However, I'll be doing these things in the tri-state area, as we seem to be building quite the following. As for Atlantic City, we are way north of it, and I really can't stand the place. Agreed, the tourist trade would be a good marketing vehicle, but since there would be no way to peddle within a casino, I would have to set up on the street.In doing so, would probably have my car carjacked. Not quite the vision of the Defcon takeover I had in mind. Perhaps we will appear in VT one of these days, you never know...

Hey John, I gave my Daughter and Son in Law a bottle of 1. Just found that they love hot food and HOT sauce. I bet he falls in love with the 1. :D Daughter says her throat closes when she has too much. :? Allergic to peppers? Go figure. :lol:

Actually Frank, the constriction of throat muscles is involuntary in virtually all people when they eat very hot stuff. The contractions are just more pronounced in some individuals. Those with asthma are particularly susceptible to these constrictions. Ever get or see someone get hiccups from eating hot food? That's one of the side effects. OK, that's your lesson for the evening. :lol:

Correct, thanks for noticing. Originally, it was slated for ther 12th during the Pro-Bowl, but who cares about the Pro-Bowl, as stated by the bar manager, so we switched it to Saturday as they draw a better crowd.

Anyone who is attending the DEFCON Day tomorrow, The Alley Bar is somewhat close to the Berkeley Heights train station on the Morris/Essex Line (you may have to switch trains at Summit if coming from the east, ask a Conductor), about a 15-20 minute walk, and there's a liquor store right next to the station so you can grab a road beer for the train ride home. Just a heads up, as they are calling for a good amount of snow in the evening. See, the Creator cares about his Acolytes well-being. :halo:

The Coors Light girls are supposed to be arriving from 4-6pm, my guess is they'll be there a little earlier due to the approaching inclement weather. See you tomorrow man, bring friends, the more the merrier.

a significant winter storm with heavy snow...and blizzard conditions in coastal sections...is possible from late saturday afternoon into sunday morning...

I'm still planning on going, unless the snow starts earlier than predicted (but are weathermen ever wrong :lol: )

Just be careful man. There will probably be a few less people than usual due to the weather, but Hell, that just leaves more wings for you, not to mention a better chance of winning Defcon stuff as well. Always accentuate the positive.

Another DEFCON Day has come and gone, and another success has been notched into the bedpost. Not quite the massive turnout, due to the impending white stuff, but nonetheless a good time had by all. We're working on the next one, probably mid to late March, so stay tuned...
