DEFCON Day 1/22/06, another unrivaled success

Greetings all. Well, another DEFCON Day has come and gone. Each time they get to be more and more fun, as I am meeting quite a number of people I speak to on these boards. I would like to thank everyone who attended, not only for the support of the Creator, but for all the kind words said about our culinary specialty. It has come to be that these are becoming quite the cult hit, of course who can go wrong with hours and hours of free award winning wings, lots of beer, and many chiliheads deperately seeking their own personal endorphin rush. I even brought my own private stock of ZERO (for tasting only, NOT for sale) and watched in amazement as the ingestors writhed in agonizing bliss. We haven't come up with a date for the next one, but stay tuned, and as always, everyone is invited.

Hey Creator! Glad to hear all went well...have ya thought about coming to the SE to convert some of us southern folk? Maybe I could help you arrange something here in coastal NC for this upcoming summer if your interested. Let us know..

Cap'n - That sounds very inviting. However, with only said anmount of time off, I'm pretty much booked. I'll be in NM for the March show, Montana in July, hopefully Dallas in Sept., and somewhere in there I want to hit the Caymans for a nice week of scuba. In the meantime, we'll be doing a couple of local shows, maybe another DEFCON Day or two. I know we'll be at the Central Jersey Firemans BBQ cookoff in September sometime for a one day event. I look forward to coverting many acolytes in the NC area, and I have a good feeling that the Defcon stuff will be a hit.

John - The Bahamas sounds like it would be a hoot, however my time is basically not my own this year. We're trying to ride the wave of our awards this year, and everything has been pretty much planned out at this point. You're on our e-mail list, so you'll be kept abreast of the upcoming events in the area, and I look forward to meeting you one of these days.
