I poisioned myself this past week with naphata, and other chemicals at work. Either from fumes or direct contact. Doc says it could last 6 months! WTF??
Allergy medicines keep it down, but hot tubs, hot showers, and hot sauces cause recurrences. I had pork chops with Louisiana Chipotle on them last night. It's mild. My lips swole up so much, they looked like balloons!! :( :x
It also must have been what caused me to nearly stop breathing when tasting the Final Answer last Fri.
Don't know what I'll be testing for a while. I think I'll have to taste a mild one every night until reactions quit happening. :( Unfreaking unbelievable  What luck!!!
Oh well. Just had to vent a little. Hopefully, the Va. Beach chili-heads teasted Kato's samples and wrote something down for me to report. (btalmadge was at AANR East meeting last weekend and I couldn't see how it went.) :(

Dude, that stinks. Hope everything works out! I'd lay off the sauce for a while.
You may want to look into getting an "EPIPEN" for when the attach occurs. My daughter is allergic to stuff and we keep them EVERYWHERE, just in case.
Good Luck.

Frank, have you checked to see if you can climb walls or shoot lasers out of your eyes yet? Superheroes have to start somewhere.

Well, if you find that you can become invisible or shoot fire from your face, or something to that effect, please tell me. I'd love to have someone like that to guard my laboratory. The capsaicin-based homunculus will be taking a well needed vacation in a couple weeks, so I do need a superhero stand-in for a little while.

Hmmm, sounds tempting. However, with the automated security system which releases quite virulent neuro-toxins, and the micro-particle cyclotrons in place to disrupt cell structure of intruders on the atomic level, I don't think the chili pepper costume would second as a sealed bio-suit and molecular shield, hence the need for super-human powers. I do thank you for the kind thought though.

Ahhhh, the public will be placated. And hopefully buy us out, as I don't want to have to ship anything back home. For some reason, I think I'm looking more forward to the nightlife after each show day. Nothin' like enjoying some icy cold ones with fellow chiliheads!

Still alive today. Had to go without any sauces or hot tubs. Chiptle still made me swell badly as of Thurs. Haven't tried anything since then.Mon. might be OK as nothing showed up, without taking meds for 2 days now. SHHEEESH.

Got home at 2:24pm and tried some mild Ultimate Insanity by dipping my finger in it. We'll see. I was too much the wimp to try anything HOT.

Man oh man, you gotta take it easy son, sounds like you got a really funky anaphylactoid response to some rather nasty substances. I would highly suggest laying off the sauce for a bit. In my opinion, if you're still swelling from hot stuff, by eating it, you are prolonging the hypersensitivy to whatever got into you. As I said, just my opinion, but take it easy.

I seem to be past that hypersensitivity now. I hope so. It was crazy last week. Fine this morning. I haven't taken my meds since about Thurs. Not sure. Short memory hear.
