Beaufort

Well my guess is that most (if not all) of you people have never watched an Israeli movie, and actually most of the relatively new ones are crappy! so that's good.
There was that one movie that I really liked, called "Beaufort".
Now I wasn't sure if I should recommend it (because let's face it... you'd probably won't even care), but now that it's an Academy Award-nominated movie (Best Foreign Language Film)... I think it's ok. :lol:

I can't seem to locate it anywhere here in Florida, and online all i get are IMDB reference pages....i'd really like to get my hands on a copy of it.

I've looked at the video rental place & they dont have it. also I havent seen it at other stores where they sell movies.

1 question does it have english subtitles ?

Well there's a DVD version HERE, but I'm not so sure about everywhere else. if I'm not mistaken, it's still running in some of the theatres.
If you obtained a copy the stanard way, it will have subtitles. if you obtained a copy creatively, subtitles could be obtained the same way.

I only ask because I hate watching movies that I need to read everything in subtitles, I want to watch all of the movie not spend all the time reading. a little here & there is ok but not the whole movie.
maybe its just me that dont like reading movies.

just checked it out & i can manage that...do i need to find a version with sub-titles? being a mono-linguist myself.

Depends on what version you're downloading. if download one without any subtitles at all, Google will find you some subtitles too. ;)

yeah i found 1 with hebrew & then a zip file with the english subs in it....i'm too pissed for that right now.

I got it but way too messy to work out how to add subs. Visual looks cool for the first 5 mins...good story setup.

2. I had some people over and I was all like "someone hooked me up... I have Wolf Creek... scary stuff...". got it in my read-all DVD and it didn't read it. got it into my updated PS3 and it didn't read it. got it in my damn computer... surprise! didn't read it. no worries, though. the data is there... I'll get it out! that's actually some of the fun. :D
