I'm pretty sure the third one is a jalapeno but for the others, I just don't know.
Help would be very appreciated.

The second looks like a serrano, and the 5th is definitely an orange habanero. I've seen all the others before, but I can't remember what they are.

From left to right:
Fresno, Serrano, Jalapeno, Cayenne, Habanero, and some funcky light green pepper that I will now call "Slimer" in honor of the Ghostbusters!

I was going to say firecracker but it's way too big.

I was thinking it was one of those "baby bells" they sell now. Hey. jo152, is sweet or does it have any heat?
Oh, and btw, welcome!

Thank you for all the replies. The light yellow pepper looks to be a sweet pepper as I noticed no heat in it.

slimer is now known as "unworthy" :P
I'd venture that 1 & 3 are the same, but 1 is ripe.
And that number 4, the orange Habanero is the only one worth keeping :)
What color do the green ones go when ripe?

Do you eat any sweet peppers? I love the sweet ones as much as the hot ones. Some of the Italian heirlooms or heirloom cheese and pimento types are like eating candy they're so good.

I use some in cooking more for color & texture than flavour. I use so few I dont really see the point of growing them & taking up hot pepper resources. Plus they seem to be bug magnets.
