Increasing PM box size

I don't know how it's like with other users, but my PM box gets filled pretty fast.
I know it's possible to just delete PMs every other day, but some of them are important.
Believe it or not, but I'm not the most organized guy in the world... it's hard for me to keep information. The availability of saved PMs makes it so easy.
So I was thinking (if possible) to increase the size of the PM box.
It's just more messages, so it shouldn't overload the server/database or anything.
I was thinking about something like 1,000 messages? or even more if possible.
Just suggesting, but I do have to say it will make a difference (at least for me).

Can't the messages be moved to a folder on your computer?

Well I'm working on three different computers every day.
One is my personal computer, the other is a laptop I use around the house and a workstation (Surprisingly I spend most of my time using the workstation).
Like I said, it would make it easier.
It's not a matter of life or death, but just comfort.

Try not saving sent messages since the reply will usually include a quote anyways. I've had to start doing this lately.

Already doing it.
Sometimes people come to me (without a quote) and talk about stuff I can't even remember saying, so I need my sent messages.
I'm deleting only the ones I have a copy of in my inbox.
Now it's picking which message is worth more.

Perhaps instead of increasing the size of the mail box, they could add a "forward to email" tab and you could email them to yourself.

Thanks for sharing the download capability. I just downloaded all my messages in a text format to my desktop...works beautifully...
