Yesterday I visited Tears of Joy Hot sauce shop. This place has been here for years but I've never visited it before. Why? I dunno. For one reason it's downtown and I'm usually only there at night to see a rock show or drink, not shop for hot sauce. About the only time I'm down there during the day is when I have to go to court!
Anyway, this place is awesome. It was so cool to be able to browse all the hot sauces I read about on the net in person. There's also lot's of other cool items like cookbooks and even chile attire!
I met one of the owners, Brian Rush, and he was very friendly and informative. I'll be visiting again I'm sure.
If you are ever in Austin you want to be sure and check this place out.
