Has anyone heard of or used "Angostura bitters" in their chili? I came across this in a chili recipe book my wife got. It is in Black Bean chili.

In chili? I'd prefer it in my cocktails personally.

Bitters are a strange old after dinner liqueur. (not meaning strange in a bad way, I have actually never had one)

I have to say that Angostura bitters and soda is my favorite drink....other than tequila. If you have an upset stomach...its the solution. Bitters in chile? Hmmm. I prefer more natural chili flavor.
Cheers, TB.

Lemon Lime & Bitters is a very popular drink. From my limited experience in making sauces limes seem to feature in the ingredients. I guess youd have a "chilli lime & bitters"!
