Artwork needed for 'pain' & maybe $

I'm bottling my 'pain' sauce right now & still have no artwork for the label. I know theres a few Graphic Artists frequenting the forum. I'm willing to offer free sauce, lots of thanks & even $ if that's what it takes. My Photoshop skills are about 5 years out of date & I don't have the time to sit & sort it out.
I have:
An idea of what I want
The necessary pictures

I don't mind paying for the right result.

UPDATE:
It seems that my hotmail account has everyone pinned as Nigerian Spam mongers, so heres the deal:-

Potawie has thankfully given me permission to use one of his fine pepper porn pics. I just wanted to put a set of nerd glasses on it & basically make it look like a nerd head. Evil nerdy grin is also an idea I like. It may need eyes, eyebrows...up to you.

The rest is like the sketch. Just the 2 words. I was thinking grainy old typewriter font lower case for 'pain' A & Z capital on 'AlphanerdZ' - but use your artistic license there - up to you what looks right. I have no taste for design.

I'm hoping to use the chilli-nerd head design for the main part of this label & reduce it to a logo for any future sauces...if I do them.

Do you want the ingredients as well? Or I can pin that bit on later.

That's right, I made EVERYTHING, nothing was taken from a picture or something.

As were mine, those are all stock images of mine.
Besides making and marketing hot sauce I have supported myself and my family with photography and graphic design for the last 15 years.
The glasses were from a logo from my old hockey team (Hanson Brothers anyone?) and the skull and cross bones is a popular download on the stock image site I sell my wares through. That was a jean jacket patch I designed back in the 90's.
Graphics dropped in via Abode Illustrator CS.
So besides Omri, there are a few other "talented illustrators" on The Hot Pepper, just so you know. ;)

Thanks Potawie, that would be the Handyman's Secret Weapon holding those coke bottles glasses together.
Like I said in another post, the Hanson Brothers were the inspiration for that image, my recreational hockey team used it for their logo.

WOW! All of the illustrations are great. As I get closer to bottling and prepping for commercaial markets, I am definitly gonna go to you cats for help.

I would go with the kid with braces if only for the nerd part of the product name. I, too, love the braces!

The creepy, alien pepper one is great inasmuchas it has a wierd personality and could be just enough to get people to look at the product which is half the battle anyway.

Uncle Big's stuff is alway's a treat to look at. I thnk the taped glasses make the logo, but I didn't catch it until it was mentioned later.

Good job all, I always enjoy these contests/brain storming sessions.

haha that's great! i like the black background better. the only thing i noticed is the stem and a small section right next to the pepper seem to fill in with black or white depending on the background. maybe just use the clone stamp to fill them in and give them a solid edge/fill? minor detail, but can't ever be too careful i suppose. :D

nah, i'd keep it..looks fine. just alternate between versions and you'll see what i mean. it's not a solid color..there are parts missing like maybe some brush was used next to it, so only certain spots are colored, others are "clear" so you can see the background color. i don't notice it anywhere but the stem and the part of the pepper just to the right of it.

Its still not a label though. But I would buy that on a t-shirt or a cap :)

~my next thought, with relevant permissions of course, is to have UB's glasses on there. Slightly twisted to the angle of the 'face'- see through lenses to see the eyes {still with the cracked lens though}- and how about change the duct tape repair to look like a bandaid {with color so it stands out more)

UB's curved AlphanerdZ label across the top.

Hmm...wow, that pepper looks evil XD

If I had Photoshop, I'd find some way to fill in the background, but at the moment it looks like, assuming you want to keep the background white, it could use a border...Then again, I'm not sure as to whether or not the version you just posted is your final =P (I'm sorry for being so clueless, but hey, anything can happen and I just want to cover all bases XD)

Also, looking back at the last page, specifically Omri's version of the label, the braces were a good idea - again, I'm not the artist, or an artist at all for that matter, but I think braces might look good on the pepper logo =P

Just my (way over-elaborated on) $.02 =P

Thanks Trexxen I agree that a colored background looks cool. Im getting the labels done with a lot of help from stillmanz who happens to have a stash of enough labels to get my first batch out. They are white, so white it is :D
Right now I'm through fiddling with it & just want to get it done.
