Is it still in business. I got my $100.00 order. Placed one for $15.00 after hemming and hawing. I left wrong item in cart even then. He said he would change it. It's been weeks with no contact since then. I didn't even get the wrong item.
I've e-mailed Allen several times and really hate to close my account there. Any body else having problems or even deals with Allen? Frank :?

Update: My 'lost' order from hotsauce has arrived. BUT, is the place doing business??? I haven't received any e-mail answers and was satisfied with product, concerned with service. Any Idea what's going on?? Frank

Frank,
You're the third poster to express concerns about service.
I personally am of the three strikes, you're out crowd, but some very trustworthy chiliheads in here have naught but good to say about Hotsauce.com Ergo, I reserve judgement.

When I sent another e-mail to Allen about receiving the package, he responded! Said delay in replies was because he didn't want to alarm me or UPS. I'm in business for myself, and I can tell you, that is not the way to handle customer relations. We have a happy ending here, but it's not the way run a business. Just blowing some steam. Sorry. :?
I guess, he is still officially in business and maybe he is new to this and still learning. I may still do business there, and don't mean to flame him too hard.
Just be aware that he's not good at "hand-holding" like some of the fine people here are. :) He's probably a good egg. Frank :D

Perhaps you might do him a service by sending him a link to this conversation.
After all, he has linked this forum to his hot sauce sales company, so I know he's aware of it.
I'd hope he'd want to offer the best service he can.
Anyway, just a thought.

He may indeed be a good guy....
However, whether you're a nice person or not, there's a way that you need to run a business if you want to have ANY return customers. Sounds like this guy hasn't quite gotten a clue on that just yet. Maybe his business is good enough that he can lose customers here and there without issue. Even so, that's still a bad plan. Too many other places out there to buy hot sauce without wasting time, energy, and money on one that isn't living up to expectations.
