Look at this pic taken by a friend of mine. It's a Tri-tip steak. She just flipped it up on it's side to show the char on the underside to get it to the right internal temp....

Back to the topic(not that I care) but that thing on the grill looks strikingly like a cow that has had the head, ass end, legs, and everything removed except for a somewhat triangular piece of meat.......the likeness is absolutely FREAKISH!!
