Part 1

Cookin' up a shoulder, best I can in NYC. On hour 4, indirect heat. Neighbors complaining :onfire:

Spice rub:
Chili Powder
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
All Spice
Tony Legner's Cat-5 Food Polish
Salt

Part 2

Now it's resting wrapped in foil for about two hours. I'll post pics when it's all put together. Here's the homemade spicy BBQ sauce.

Tomato paste
White vinegar
Brown sugar
Orange Marmalade
Mustard
Worcestershire sauce
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Tony Legner's Cat-5 Food Polish
Salt

Part 3

Chopped and hand shredded the succulent pork, cooked it with the sauce (only for about a minute), and piled it high on a kaiser roll with two deli pickle slices atop.

I'll take a better pic tomorrow (just have cell phone)... all that work for this baby (and some leftovers):

Check it out on a tomato/mozzarella focaccia roll (look at the cheese baked over tomatoes on top of the roll). Now that's more NYC style.

Dude..I'll ask again. What time's supper? I gotta' ask..where do you go in NYC to get a reuben? Reason I ask, I am a huge reuben fan and maybe have a trip next summer to NYC. Cheers!

Thanks For giving Cat-5 a try in a recipe. Other know decent recipies with cat-5 are 1 In your favorite peanut brittle recipe, also add to orange marmalade and baste on your favorite BBQ. Frankly any recipe you would like to wake up with some heat and additional flavor just dump it in. Thanx again, Tony.
