Anyone ever have one of those Jamaican ginger ale's that are supposed to be really spicy? What other spicy beverages are there? I once thought a cinnamon cola (using cinnamon oil) would be good.

i'll have to ask my parents or uncle where exactly it was..but we went skiing/snowboarding up in the mountains in NC (i'm pretty sure it was NC)...they had some of that spicy ginger ale..could've been some root beer though. they had different colored caps to let you know if it was regular, mild, or hot. i haven't had the stuff in a long time, but i remember buying some whenever we were there.

We're in the process of making two different flavoured spicy cola type sodas. It's all very hush hush right now, but they are in the works. Nothing else like it here in Canada and that's the point of doing it.
As well, there is a possibility of branching out into the micro brewed habanero beer realm. A possibility, nothing for sure yet.
Uncle Bigg that sounds like something Kato's could be intersted in.
A few years back we used to sell a habanero soda but then they went out of business and had to stop selling it and pretty much been looking to replace it. Did provide heat in a carbonated form. Let us know when you have something ready. Anxious to have a habanero root beer float.
Seriously contact us when your ready.

Hey Mick,
I will keep you apprised of the situation as we get closer to finalization of the recipes and packaging. We'd more than likely offer it to Peppers for U.S. distribution.
Where did we leave the whole Canadian distribution thing? I've been swamped with private labels and such, plus our home office was robbed on Monday so my head is elsewhere.
Let me know if you were going to shoot me samples and pricing or if you already have.

I'd be interested in some non-corn syrup natural sodas that are spicy. Most of the natural ones still have the high-fructose corn syrup, I even saw a "natural" soda with nutrasweet! WTF!?

to me...spicy and drinks don't seem to be things i would put together as one. i have to admit i liked that blenheim soda though...so i could be wrong. i guess i associate drinks with cooling off the burning sensation.
theres a beer called chipotle ale from rogue brewing co i have been meaning to try...just kinda half scared by the idea of spicy beer. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/132/354
