Hi, folks.
My name is Lori, and I'm a reporter for a small newspaper in Laconia, NH. I recently did a story on chile heads for the paper that is going to be published later this week, so from that I started getting more interested in hot sauces, chile peppers and spicy foods in general.
My husband is also into spicy foods -- being of English heritage, he tends to like making Indian foods, in particular chicken curry (if you know the history of England and India and Indian restaurants in England, that statement makes perfect sense). And he does most of the cooking in the house because, frankly, he's a better cook than I am.
Both of us started going to a monthly "Chile Heads" group locally that currently consists of members of our church, but the person in charge of the group wants to expand beyond that. And the group is the original orgins of the story that I wrote for the paper.
So anyway, that's my introduction. :) I'm looking forward to the recipes that I can find on here and just talking chiles in general. :)
