OK I know that I am gonna bottle the hot sauce in 8 ounce bottles. But the BBQ sauce I am debating on. Should I go for the 12 ounce or 16 ounce size? The price difference betweent he bottles is minimal....What do you guys think?

16 - bbq sauce is more of a 'splash it on' sauce whereas hot sauce is (usually) poured more carefully so as not to waste it

Could size matter? In my opinion size could matter a bit with hot sauces due to shelf space in most stores. Most of the shelves accomodate the 5oz woozy bottle. If your bottle is oversized it might be have to be displayed somewhere in the store other than with the bulk of hot sauces and could actually hurt sales. Location, location, location.

True..too true. Lets face it these jars have been around since the Dead Sea was only sick. Is there a better way of packaging this stuff??

16 or larger in my most humble opinion. BBQ is, as aforementioned, a splash on, and BBQ is mostly eaten in groups (picnics, family reunions, etc.) so the larger the bottle the better!
