lol, and you'll cry like a baby the day you walk her down the aisle! haha

Since as moderator of these forum (fori?) it's my mission to encourage you to convo, so I'll join in...

I'm on hubby #2, the Peppermaster, I was widowed by my first husband in 2000; happy new millennium... everyone say awwwwwwww.

By hubby 1, I have 2 kids; Scooter 10 and Tiff 12 going on 30 and they've grown over the last few years to call the Peppermaster "Dad". The Peppermaster came into the deal dragging 4 kids, aged 10, 14, 23 and 26... That's their age now, not then, of course. The two youngest live with us every other week for several days and with their bio-mom the rest of the time. The oldest boy, the 26 year old, lives with his gf in another part of the country. The 23 year old has been temporarily, if not permanently disowned by me; but that's a story a little personal for the likes of an internet forum, I think.

All of our pets are Neo.

And everybody is a chilihead. Thank heaven.

Wife and I married 17 years ago and had our only child, Brittany, 13 years ago. Call it "Blessed," "Luck," "Fate," or whatever but I've ended up spending my life with the two kindest, sweetest, purtyist gals on earth :D ! Brittany was almost a couple months old when I got back from Irag. Red Cross message read as follows: "SNM (said name Marine) wife request that SNM be notified of birth of daughter Brittany Shea. Wife and daughter fine." It aint no Hallmark but it made me cry like a baby!

We are a family of three right now. Linda and I (Joe) have been together since 1998, and married since 2000. Our son, Ari, was born in 2002 and is either the sweetest boy in the world or an unholy terror depending on what day you catch him. Linda is now 4.5 months pregnant with our second child, another boy, who is due to join us on Oct. 12 or so. We also have a 5 year-old South African Boerboel male (dog) who we brought back from Belgium when we lived there from 1999-2000. He's 145 pounds, adoringly lovable and loyal, and protects us from all the unwanted solicitors who may stop by the house.

At present, Linda's mom (Elaine) live with us as well. A built-in babysitter has been awfully helpful over the past 2+ years.

Well Hidy Clay. Nice to have ya.

Joe, Lin... I'm jealous, I want a live in Nanny too! Although after the blog I wrote yesterday, if I acted on it, I wouldn't need a nanny anymore. lol

My wife and I have been together for 10 years, and married for 3 of those years.

We are looking into adopting a baby. Wish we could have started a family earlier, cheaper, and easier! But that is the way the dice were rolled.

My turn! My turn!

Hubby and I have been married since this past June, been together since 2000. We have no kids together yet (will probably be awhile before we do since I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid recently), but I have two stepkids, James, 11, and Rachel, almost 8. They're with his ex-wife during the week and with us on weekends. My immediate family includes my father, who was one of seven kids (Catholic French-Canadian family). My mother is one of three girls. My brother is currently in the Navy and is doing his duty for his country at Guantanamo Bay transporting prisoners back and forth. My sister-in-law is currently pregnant with my neice and is also taking care of my nephew in the meantime while my brother is away. We're hoping that he'll be allowed to come back to see the baby after she's born in January. My mother-in-law is a really nice English lady, while my other sister-in-law is like a sister to me at this point, despite her personal problems.

Man oh man, how can people remember so much about what their family is doing. I'm lucky if I can remember my cousins name. perhaps I should lay off the mercury cocktails.

Ok, Our turn. This is a second marriage for both of us. Curt has three boys from his first marriage and I have three boys from mine. Which makes 6 boys at the get go, then we went and had another boy (now age 14) so the grand total (FINAL COUNT) is 7 Male children. 1 dog, two cats a ferret, and until very recently a snake (sadly Monty the python has passed.)

Just what exactly is a "rat terrier"?

It's a ratting dog. Kills rats and other vermin.

http://www.dogpage.us/images/0763176524.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

The Rat Terrier ( aka 'Fiest") is a well-muscled dog with a deep chest, strong shoulders, solid neck, and powerful legs. Their bodies are compact but meaty. The head is tiny with a pointed muzzle. The ears can be upright or tipped and are carried erect when the dog is alert. They can be born with short or full length tails, each being left in its natural state or docked at two days of age. The coat colors are red and white, tri-spotted, solid red, black & tan, blue & white and red brindle. Breeders concerned with working dogs are not as fussy about the specifics of the looks.

The Rat Terrier is an intelligent, alert and loving dog. Very inquisitive and lively. This affectionate dog makes an excellent companion for anyone, especially the elderly. They are good with children especially if they are raised with them from puppyhood. They are fairly territorial, stubborn, and for the most part friendly with strangers. Rat Terriers make good watchdogs. This hardy dog is used for hunting expeditions as well as terrier work. They are not good swimmers and need to be closely monitored around water. These dogs are quick and very playful and are not yappers. The temperament of these dogs is pure terrier. The lively, feisty, fearless nature can be found in the best of terriers. This breed may be slightly difficult to train. They make good farm dogs.

Now wait a minute, chuk... not to make fun of your dogs... Cause I love dogs... but are they called "rat terriers" because they hunt rats or um, er, because they rather look like them??
