What's the difference between a sauce and a paste?
I've been calling the Mr. Naga Sauce both and it's clear
it means 2 different things to some people. For me, paste
comes in a tube, sauce has a more liquid consistency.

Agree? Maybe I should call Mr. Naga as both...

Tony.

A paste is usually concentrated, like tomato paste.

There is a difference and I believe it's based on consistancy (that and paste is concentrated like THP said).

To me in the pic of Mr. Naga I see parts of Fleshy peppers. To me I consider that more of a paste. A sauce to me can be watery thin up to very thick as long as I don't see actual parts of a pepper

I make tomato juice out of tomato sauce. Hey, it's fresh made tomato juice that way. Well, kinda sorta. It IS less expensive than buying tomato juice. I can make tomato sauce out of tomato paste. Hmm, I gues I could make tomato juice out of the paste. It's all the same stuff, just in different concentrations. At least the canned tomoto paste is. I have never used the tube stuff.
