Pepper Palace is really a cool place. If you are going to be in the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area you should difinatley stop by and give them a look. They are very nice and helpful also!!!

Eh, it's too bad there isn't one here in Knoxville...I doubt I'm ever going to be able to head out to Gatlinburg again (at least until I can get a car =P), the only time I'm near there is at my grandparents' house, and I don't know what they'd think of me asking them to take me over to a hot sauce shop XD

get on the internet - you don't need to visit the shops and you'll probably find that the shipping doesn't add much to the overall price. better still, split the cost with any fellow chileheads!

Two problems with that - one, my lack of fellow chiliheads, and two, I'm completely incapable of ordering over the internet at the moment. I did hear we have a Quaker Steak and Lube here, but I've gotten mixed reviews on their service...

I'm from Johnson City. It doesn't slow me down. Most small cities are lacking in the hot sauce shop dept. I did hear that we finally got a decent wings place. They have a challenge: 20 of their hottest wings in 20 minutes, and you get a shirt and your name on the wall. I know it's not much, but it is Johnson City.
