I noticed that in this video of blair on the history channel, it appears that he is pouring satans blood into some "elixir" thats on the stove. What could he be cooking?

Probably some microbatch for an experimental sauce, or just doing a demonstration for the camera. All the sauces are done large scale, not on a stove.

My guess would be that Blair is doing a demo here for the camera. However, I'm sure that this is what it's really like when he experiments with a new sauce or just making up a batch for the fun of it. I'll bet that the kitchen was smellin' good! HeeHee..The History channel must have edited out the respirator shots.
