As I type this it's up to $3500 and the reserve is not yet met.
That is crazy crazy. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that people would pay that much for hot sauce....wow.

The reserve will be MUCH higher. I believe there are only 3 left.

Get it while it's hot!
Click on the picture to view the ebay ad.http://aburningmouth.isgreat.org/blairpicsm.jpg (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110065021364):?: If nobody ever opens it, how do you know it's good?
 I could just make up some red stuff, put it in a bottle with wax on it,
sell it for $1000-$10,000 and no one would ever open it for a taste.:P
Or maybe not...

I think it would be hard to replicate, as one could find a picture of another bottle for comparison. Add in the wax and the signature (granted, easier than the bottle and contents) and you have a lot of work on your hands.
I just wish I had thousands of dollars of disposable income I could spend on sruff like this. Oh well, I'll just spend what I have on things I'd be willing to eat :)

I'm not saying I would want to make counterfeit bottles. I mean just make up my own signature brand. I could say "It's so hot that you should probably go about 100 feet or more away from the house, on a windy day, to open it." As long as it's a collectors edition, it probably won't be opened by anyone.
Also, I was wondering if it is still safe to consume anyway (because of spoilage) if it's been around for a few years. From the picture, it looks questionable.

Sigh! I give up. I guess I'll have to produce some reserves too. Let's see, how about (in keeping with my marketing approach) I pack the neck with fresh alfalfa (organic of course) horses**t, carve in my now world famous "E.Z.", bake it hard, loop a sun-dried ranch oyster around the neck on a leather thong, top it with a gold plated cowboy hat, and make it a short run - say 1 of 1? I guess that should go for what? - about $1,000,000? What the hell - I'd only have to sell one!!
(I think the horses**t is the most appropriate touch :!: )
