I know www.sweatnspice.com is currently looking for a store in Manhattan, NY. They are in process right now and if they can't get it they may try Queens. I can't wait for a shop to be open in my area that is of this magnitude.
Pepperheads is another one that is located in Port Jefferson, Long Island. I go there alot and they have a great selection but there are always items that I am looking for that they don't carry. That is why I am hoping sweatnspice can open soon. They have just about everything.
Pepperheads website is www.pepperheads-hotsauces.com btw

They have a lot, but you might find hot sauce you are looking for that they don't have and some that are a bit more than you would want to pay. Convenience-wise you can't complain if you are in the neck of the woods. I would love to have a store in VA to go to. When I come home to visit my folks on L.I. I sometimes take the trip up there. They have a cool sports store next door that I usually shop at too.

How is the selection at Pepperheads? I'm going there this weekend.Went to Pepperheads out on Long Island today. WOW i got some awesome stuff!! I got a bottle of Defcon 2 (would've gotten 1, but my girl wants to try it), a bottle of CaJohn's Select Fatali Puree, CaJohn's 10, and 2 dried bhut jolokias. I have to say i was quite impressed with their selection. I'd say it's on par with Susie Hot Sauce in New Hope.
i'll post reviews of my purchases shortly. :onfire:

I will have to check out Susie's sometime on my way up to Long Island. Since I am going to Jungle Jim's for the Weekend of Fire Show, I don't need to buy anything until then since they carry everything under the sun. I also want to check out Marco's place sometime.
