Would someone knowledgable in pH post a reference or tutorial thread. That would be great in this section. If threads are very useful for reference I will make them stickies.

thanks! thats an interesting read about something i never really gave much thought to. i've never made my own sauce from scratch and recently have been giving it some thought.

I originally got a pen style pH meter for my Koi pond, and it seems to work great! I even was able to get "buffering" solution (to zero in the meter) at my pond store...and it was more expensive than the meter. I think the meter was under $25, if I recall.
