Mystery Pepper - Any Ideas?

Hello everyone,

I flash some pictures of this up in another thread and though I would tap into everyones expertise.

Has anyone ever grown an annuum variety like this before? The seed was labelled as Bolivian Rainbow which it clearly isnt. Its a nice plant though (approx 2ft tall) with very weird purplish penant pods.

Ok, looking at the flower, it is NOT a Purira even though the fruits really look like one. Do they mature from purple to yellow to some other color? Or are they yellow with purple tinges to it?

I grew hungarian yellow wax last year, and they turned out just like your pics...not all turned completely purple.
