Green Mountain Gringo is the BEST salsa you can buy in the supermarket, hands down.

haven't even seen that one on the shelves yet. At the risk of getin' lynched, I'm partial to milder salsas. In fact, I'd prefer to have a quick/easy recipe for a home-made medium-heat salsa!

My favorite salsas aren't the super chunky ones, I like the smoother ones, that have been pulsed in a food processor. Still a little chunky of course, but not big chunks of tomatoes, etc, more of a blend of everything.
I believe I have posted a recipe for salsa.

It certainly is/was. It will be interesting to see if the product maintains its high quality now that it has been bought out and is now made in North Carolina and not Vermont.

We're getting out of the salsa field altogether, it's far too easy to make a good salsa and the market is overly saturated.
I will be very surprised if this Gringo salsa ever makes it anywhere near our supermarket shelves.
